My working life began in the tourist area in 1984 when I was hired to launch a publicity campaign managed by the General Office of Tourism of the Council of Andalucía. My youth and illusion led me to intensely live a profession that began in the Sevilla’s Tourism Office and continued to grow in different tourist companies.

I worked as a retail travel agent for six years, a decisive step in my life to confirm that tourism would be my right professional choice.

The third step was to accept the challenge of recruiting and managing the Andalusian team of some of the most recognized tour operators in the market. A huge opportunity to get to know the stressful but interesting “wholesale” world, establish contacts with professionals from all over Andalusia, and participate in the organization of international events. Unfortunately, my appealing professional career was disrupted by an occupational accident with serious consequences, but … life still had a lot to offer to me.

After an intense and forced recovery parenthesis, I decided to resume my academic training and years later I returned to work as a consultant and manager in a major retail travel agency, but everything had changed, I had changed, and my goals had changed.

I made a fresh start as an independent professional, a specialist in the dissemination of Historical Heritage through Cultural Tourism (AR HERITAGE PROJECTS). I engaged in several domestic and international projects (H2020, MINECO, GOALS) and directed the “Almohad Seville” local project (2015-Seville Tourism Board).

At the right time, I decided to create AART SELECT, a specialized tourist and cultural management company in which I managed to combine the experience and knowledge I gained along this intense path. The dream come true of a tireless traveler who never stops looking for new challenges.

Seven years after this I have embarked on a new projet in collaboration with excellent professionals and great friends: Isbilya Travel – Nervión Viajes. 

From now on, I will work as a consultant and collaborator for ISBILYA SELECT – Tourism & Heritage.
